On October 24th 2010 our group visited the Hope-orphanage near Hanoi/Vietnam.
As at our former visits, we brought presents
for the children.
This time we brought for them books, bookshelfs, some
materials for doing handicrafts, clothes, toys, books for school and food. The

On August 16, 2009 a group of our Vietnamese
volunteers brought the first books and furniture for the new library to the
"Hope-Orphanage" near Hanoi, where 60 HIV-infected children are
living.
The donations we received enabled us to buy 330 books,
5 tables and 20 chairs ...

2009, the Moon Festival was celebrated in
Vietnam. This is a special day for children.
The traditional mooncake is a part of the custom on this
day. The date varies annual according to the moon

"Hope-Orphanage"

The
"Hope-Orphanage" is located
50 km outside of Hanoi, in Yen Bai
Village, Ba Vi Province. In 2001 the orphanage
was established to
receive HIV-infected children from all over Vietnam. Children who suffer from HIV are
often
rejected by their own parents. The
