Our
organization "hope for tomorrow" has been accepted by the German
tax-authorities as a registered
charitable association.
Hai Nguyen delivered necessary
supplies to
the "Hope-Orphanage"
near Hanoi, Vietnam during
her stay there in the autumn of 2008.
She also contacted families with children who are affected by HIV.

It
is also possible to support children
who do not yet have a sponsor
with a one-time donation.
Friends
in Vietnam are helping our group as volunteers. They care about all aspects of
the sponsorships. Everyone in our group is working
without receiving any salary. We use our private money to pay for travel expenses between Vietnam and Germany.
During the summer of 2009 we bought books and furniture
for the new library in the "Hope-Orphanage". In the past, the children had no chance
to borrow and read books. In the future, we plan to purchase more books, tables,
shelfs and chairs for the library. We thank all donors who made the donation of
books and furniture possible.
In
the autumn of
2009, we also started to focus our help
on medical care for children who live in
the surrounding regions of Hanoi. There is only one hospital in Hanoi that offers medical care
for HIV-infected children.
We keep in close contact with
our volunteers who are associated
with this hospital. We learn from them that the poorest families who live in the rural
areas around Hanoi have difficulty affording the basic costs of medical
care for their children in this hospital. The basic cost to admit one child
to the hospital is
25 Euro / 35
USD.
We started to support these poorest families in order
to ensure that their HIV-infected children receive the medical care necessary
to keep them alive.
