A Letter, written by a mother of sponsored children to the group "Hope for Tomorrow"

Hanoi, 2010

Dear members of “Hope for Tomorrow”,

I am Huong, I live in a small town near Hanoi. My husband, my oldest son and me are infected with HIV.

But I was lucky when I met Mrs. Hai Nguyen from the group "Hope for Tomorrow" two years ago.

For nearly two years all members have helped and encouraged my family a lot.
Although I could not meet all of you, I would like to send some words of gratitude to you,
especially to Mrs. Hai Nguyen and Mrs. Nguyet Nguyen who care about the connection between my family and our two sponsors in Germany, Mrs. Renate and Mrs. Constanze.

I know that you care about many sponsorships for other children in the same or similar condition as my children.

This is deeply moving me, because I am sure you need to spend a lot of time, effort and money
to care about the children.
Your help is a great spiritual and physical encouragement.

I am very happy that all of you care about us without discrimination, which is so much different from the way other people think of HIV-infected persons.

That is what I want to tell you today. Once again, I would like to express my sincere thankfulness to all members of "Hope for Tomorrow".

On the occasion of Christmas, New Year and Vietnamese Lunar New Year, I wish your group can get more support and can help more children in Vietnam. I wish all of you good health, happiness and success.

Best regards,

Huong
